Track description

The members of Brøndby Golfklub welcome all guests to our cozy club close to Copenhagen.

Note that all distances in meters 200, 150, 100 and 50 are all from the center of the fairway to the center of the green. The red balls on the flagpole mean that the hole is at the back if the ball is up, in the middle if the ball is in the middle, and at the front if the ball is down.

How is the track

Brøndby Golfklub is definitely worth a visit. With a green fee of just DKK 350.00 for the whole day (5 hours between start times) excl. range balls, we are talking about "Value for Money".
The course's greens are level and the greenkeeping staff do their utmost to ensure that the facility is in good condition. You can read a description below. The track is "pesticide-free" and garners great recognition for this particular part (both nationally and internationally).

After the round you can e.g. enjoy some food, a cold beer or a cup of coffee in a nice atmosphere in café Fairway, among nice and friendly people. Brøndby Golfklub buzzes with informality and a good atmosphere. There is room for everyone here, and if you are in doubt about something, you can ask everyone you meet in the club and you will be greeted with a smile and an answer.

Front 9

A round at Brøndby Golf Course starts with an initially innocent par 4 hole, but the size of the green requires precision. Immediately after, the water is in play on the 2nd hole, which is a par 5, where the lake and stream lie along the right side of the fairway.

The course's 3rd hole is a short par 4 hole, but the green is high and makes great demands on the short game.

After the next two holes, a walk through the forest of peace awaits to get out to the "plain", which contains four par 4 holes of varying difficulty.
8th hole, the third par 4 hole, has a green which is protected by both lake and bunker.

The long hitters can try to go for the green in the first shot. However, 223 meters from tee 51 must be carried.

On the other hand, there is the possibility of a hole-in-one on the 9th hole, which is a relatively short par 4 hole. However, it requires that you focus on the flag and not on the hazard on the right side of the fairway or on the woods and hills that flank the fairway all the way to the green!

Back 9

After another walk through the forest of peace, you come to the 10th tea place. Many take a deep breath before teeing off on this par 5 hole, where the fairway is followed by woods on the left and water with out of bounds on the right. If you come here with a couple, you can be well satisfied.

After the 10th hole with water in play, you only get right around the bushes to the tee spot on the 11th hole and face the next challenge, which you usually have to go abroad to find: A par 3 hole with an "island green”, a green surrounded by water on all sides.

On the last 7 holes there is water in play on 5 of the holes. You end the round with a par 3 hole where the green is just up from the terrace by the clubhouse. All in all, the design of many of the holes is an expression of the art of the possible. We are dealing with a short but exciting course that requires thought more than long shots

Take care of the field and each other!

To complete the game as quickly as possible, remember to be ready when it's your turn. Whoever is furthest away strikes first. Whoever was best on the last hole played must hit first on the next hole – and be ready! And then note the score on the hole just completed. Move quickly between shots and help each other out for quick play.

All players on Brøndby Golfklub's course, members as well as guests, must always correct impact marks, put turf in place, put the entire rake down in the bunker and rake bunkers after use when a round of golf is played. Then we all get to enjoy a good course.

Please remember that the 18-hole course is not a practice facility, and a round of golf must be played with one ball, except when a provisional is to be played.

Remember to close behind faster playing balls through, even if there is no gap in front of you for the next playing group.

We encourage single balls and 2-balls to play together with other 2-balls. That way we get a good flow in the game.
