The board of directors of Brøndby Golfklub can in special cases appoint honorary members.
This means that the board - if all board members agree, cf. the club's articles of association - can appoint people as honorary members if these people have made an extraordinarily large, personal and unpaid effort for Brøndby Golf Club and the golf club's members.
The club's board has discussed the criteria and agrees that honorary members:
- over a number of years has made an extraordinary effort, including independently planning and carrying out tasks of great importance for Brøndby Golfklub so that the club's members and guests can play the game of golf under the best possible conditions.
- has made a personal effort, in a well-functioning collaboration with other active members of the club, and has contributed to developing Brøndby Golf Club and personally contributed to making Brøndby Golf Club an association with a good social life and promotion of the members' joint work.
- has made the extraordinary personal effort unpaid.
Honorary members are appointed for the rest of their lives. Honorary members are automatically active members of the club, and do not pay dues for a 3-year period after appointment.
