Rules of order for Brøndby Golf Club

 In general

  1. All traffic on and around the course and Driving Range is at your own risk.
  1. All posted instructions, prohibitions, orders etc. both on the course, driving range and in the clubhouse must be followed.
  1. Violation of rules of order for Brøndby Golf Club - cf. § 7 subsection of the articles of association. 6 – can be punished by the board with temporary exclusion from participation in the game and from the clubhouse or, in repeated cases, with exclusion from the club.

The track

  1. DGU's golf and amateur rules approved by R&A Rules Limited and The United States Golf Association, Brøndby Golfklub's Rules of Order and Local Rules apply to all play on the course.
  2. The track staff has priority everywhere on the track. Remember to show consideration for their safety and work.
  3. Before playing on the course, a time must be booked and the time must be confirmed in Golfbox.
  4. Valid rear mark and possibly green fee ticket must be visible. DGU card must be presented on request.
  5. Dress on the field as well as in the clubhouse must follow the club's dress code.
  6. Players must put turf in place, repair impact marks on the greens and remember to rake after themselves in bunkers.
  7. Any recommendation from the track service must be followed.
  8. Show consideration for traffic on the public paths.
  9. Motorized vehicles for passenger transport may only be used with special permission.
  10. The players' trailers, vehicles etc. must be placed outside the tees. They may not drive on foregreens or between greens and bunkers.
  11. An 18-hole round of golf should max. be 4 hours (calculated on a 4 ball).
  12. All traffic on neighboring properties is prohibited.
  13. If a car is hit or other damage occurs, must the secretariat is informed. If it is closed, a letter is left in the post box at the clubhouse about the incident, stating the name and membership number.
  14. Unless otherwise stated, a round of golf must be played in the order of the holes and only starting from hole 1 (or hole 2 in certain cases). The rules of golf definitions: Round. No holes may be skipped in a round of golf.
  15. It is not allowed to have more than 4 balls in play. It is not permitted to share golf equipment during a round of golf – j Rule 4.1b(2). Foursome and Fourball are excluded.
    See Rule 22.5 and 23.7 (limited exception in partner forms of play which allow partners to share clubs if they have no more than 14 clubs together).
  16. It is the responsibility of the player group to keep up with the group in front. If the group of players loses an entire hole and/or delays the group behind, it must wave through the group playing behind, regardless of how many players are in that group.
  17. Players searching for a ball must wave players in the group behind as soon as it is clear that the ball cannot be easily found. In practice, this means within approx. 30 sec. After that, you have to lead for the remaining time, while the team behind plays through. Wait to play until the group behind has passed, even if the ball is found before this has happened. If the ball is not found within 3 minutes, the ball is lost.
  18. It is permitted to have a dog with you on the course provided:
    • that it is in the company of a playing golfer.
    • that the dog is on a fixed, short leash.
    • that the dog does not get in the bunkers and on the greens.
    • that it is collected after it.
    • it is the player's responsibility that the dog is not a nuisance to other golfers. If the dog becomes a nuisance, Court Service has the right to take the player responsible for the dog off the court.
    • it is the player's responsibility, and no compensation is provided for green fees and the like. It is not permitted to have the dog with you on areas other than the actual 18-hole course, the Par 3 course and the training facility.
    • clubhouse, restaurant and wooden terrace are dog-free areas.
    • it is not allowed to bring a dog into Tournaments.

 Driving Range

  1. Driving Range is for club members and guests who have paid to use the range. Ball key is personal and may not be lent to others.
  2. Aim for the tree or distance markings - then balls over the fence to the car park and the neighbor are avoided.
  3. No fighting is allowed clubs, only with irons on the first 11 tees.
  4. If a car is hit or other damage occurs, must the secretariat is informed. If it is closed, a letter is placed in the post box at the clubhouse about the incident, stating the name and membership number.
  5. The teeing mats are left in a tidy condition (the ball baskets are put back in place).
  6. Balls may not be hit from the grass - the exception, however, is play from the putting area towards the putting green or the mowed area between the covered teeing areas and hole 13.
  7. When collecting balls, must this is respected and no balls may be hit after the ball collector.
