New members can take up full membership, everyday flex membership or just flex membership and thereby get DGU shortly after the following has been reviewed and passed:

1. New members without HCP transfer to the club-po's golf lessons after registration. Lessons end with practice tests together with an inspector, and afterwards the practice test is signed by the club pro.

2. The regular test is taken online via DGU at https://www.danskgolfunion.dk/regelproeve.

3. Rules and etiquette course is organized as needed in the club.

4. After completing the training course and completing hitting tests, the new member is registered in the club, created in Golfbox as a WHS beginner and assigned HCP 54. This means that the member now has full membership, everyday flex membership or flex membership, and gets allocation of DGU cards with various playing rights (according to their membership) in BGK.

5. Next, the new member is offered/transferred to Monday training in the Kanin club. Here you play a tournament with the Kanin club's volunteer helpers and practice rules and etiquette.

6. In the Kanin tournament, the new member plays rounds of golf on the 9-hole course (holes 1, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18) together with the Kanin club helpers. Registration takes place via Golfbox (Instructions: https://brondbygolf.dk/medlemskab/tilmelding-kaninmatch-hjaelp.)

7. Alternatively, the new members can contact a sponsor themselves "The godfather list" and agree to play rounds of golf with this one on the 9-hole course.

8. For the use of new players, a Facebook group has been set up where you can find others to play with: https://www.facebook.com/groups/374532307387682

9. With the help of the volunteers, the new member is taught to sign up for the Kanin tournament on Mondays via Golfbox and to print scorecards before the start.

10. After the rounds, the member is instructed in the correct filling in of the scorecard and registration in the Golfbox (this is shown by the volunteers or sponsors). Alternatively, the score card can be handed in to the secretariat, which then reports the new member's HCP in GolfBox.

11. When the new member can play to HCP 54 and at the same time can play 9 holes within 2 hours and 15 minutes, the tick in the Golfbox next to WHS beginner is removed, and the member is granted national rights in Brøndby Golfklub.

12. After this, the new member can play in other clubs, including playing for free in friendship clubs (only applies to full-time members). Friendship clubs and other clubs may, however, require special handicap levels.
