Our vision is that the irons should be the preferred KiK for all men's players in Brøndby Golf Club, which we seek to achieve by offering good camaraderie across age and handicap and by giving existing and new members the opportunity to teach other members in the club to know. Through the golf tournaments and other activities, the Irons' overall goal is to create a pleasant social gathering for the members.

If you want to become part of our community, all men with full membership in Brøndby Golf Club are welcome here. We have a mentoring scheme that makes it easier to be integrated into the Men's Club Jernene.

Each individual male member is an important ambassador for the Men's Club Jernene both on and off the golf course. Clique formations are undesirable. During the year, try to play with as many different members as possible. It would also be nice if the men's club members find time to sit in the clubhouse or on the terrace after the individual rounds. This is where we get to know each other better.

Golf game

The irons play every Tuesday and have priority for bookings between 15:30 and 17:00. On the first Tuesday of every month, the ongoing tournament Eclectic is played, and on the same day we have a communal meal with prize distribution. Participating in the dining is a really good way to get to know other members and thereby find new playmates. On the other Tuesdays, there will be different tournaments.

Who can be a member of the Irons

• Men who have reached the age of 18.
• Members of Brøndby Golf Club.
• Members who have a registered handicap (own right to play).

Prices in 2024

Payments must be deposited into Jernenes' bank account in Nordea Bank: Registration number. 2277 – Account no. 6279 603 263 or with MobilePay to 26147 stating name and membership number. Payment cannot be made in cash. If the payment is not received by 15 March at the latest, you cannot participate until the payment incl. fee for late payment is registered in the bank.
The communal meals cost DKK 75, which is settled with MobilePay or in cash on the day of the meal.
